Welcome to the Wolfensberg!
The Senn families have been rooted on the Wolfensberg for 90 years – the third and fourth generations are currently working on the handover. We carry on old traditions and complement them with modern approaches. We see hospitality as a vocation and not just a job. We are particularly proud that our traditional values translate perfectly into the current spirit of time – passion, care and responsibility. The story remains and will be continued by a new family generation and the team.

On the Wolfensberg you can relax well. A breathtaking natural scenery with a view of the Alpstein invites you to go hiking, biking or simply to relax. Our hotel with seminar rooms and sauna is ideal for company seminars, club events, banquets and holidays.

The hotel stays open for our guests – including catering in the restaurant (no à la carte service in the evening). The Wolfensberg, located at 900 meters, offers a fantastic backdrop for the hotel and a great view of the Eastern Swiss Alps. It is the idyllic place for leisurely walks, easy hikes and excursions.

Conferences, meetings, banquets and seminars far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life but only 20 minutes from St. Gallen with complete and reliable equipment such as beamer and WiFi

We live sustainability
In everything we do, we focus on people and the environment. Be it natural soap from Switzerland, regional ingredients, home-made water (sparkling and still) in Wolfensberger bottles, as well as washing and cleaning. When it comes to the environment, our choices are obvious.
house laundry
All linen is washed in our own in-house laundry. This not only saves us unnecessary transport routes, but we can also decide for ourselves which products and methods we use for washing.
Sustainably beautiful (from Jan. 24)
We are currently working with full dedication to find the perfect natural Swiss soap for our company and to integrate it into our concept. We are committed to providing quality products that meet both our values and the expectations of our valued customers.
Regional products
From homemade delicacies, specialties in the restaurant or the wine at the table – when selecting the ingredients, we always use products from our region whenever possible.
Such as the Wolfensberg cheese – this is made in the Kreuzstrasse cheese dairy (5km away) with cow’s milk from the region.

History
In 1932 our grandfather took over the restaurant zur Frohen Aussicht on the Wolfensberg. Today the Restaurant & Hotel Wolfensberg is a family business in the fourth generation.
